One year ago today I started a FaceBook page for BibleQuizzes.org.uk, not sure whether it would be successful or not. A year on and I can confidently say it has been more successful that I had expected, with over 2,850 fans and plenty of interaction. The numbers did slow significantly immediately after when FaceBook in their wisdom decided to ditch the “fans” and replace it with “like”. I’m convinced that was a bad move by them.
I don’t use FaceBook much for personal stuff, games etc as it seems like such a waste of time and friends seem to post pointless nonsense most of the time, but I have to admit the potential for keeping in touch with fans, sorry, likers is amazing! Anyway, we’re slowly creeping towards 3,000 fans (yes, likers, I know and I don’t care… to me it will always be fans!).
So, it seems appropriate that we should launch our Finding God FaceBook page today. Please join and share your thoughts and experiences, help others to find God too.
